CONCERT I

Saturday, September 4, 2010 (Season Grand Opening):
ITALIAN BAROQUE EXTRAVAGANZA
Music by Vivaldi, Corelli, Manfredini and Torelli

New Trinity Baroque, directed by Predrag Gosta, opens it's 12th season with exciting instrumental concertos by Vivaldi, Corelli, Manfredini and Torelli, as well as Vivaldi's masterpiece "Stabat Mater" for alto, strings and continuo with exciting Polish-born mezzo-soprano Magdalena Wór.

Saturday, October 30, 2010:
VIVA VIVALDI!
Spectacular concertos by Antonio Vivaldi

New Trinity Baroque, directed by Predrag Gosta, presents exuberant and exciting instrumental concertos for violin, cello, and orchestra by Antonio Vivaldi, played on period instruments and using historical techniques. This is an event you don't want to miss!

BAROQUE CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS
NTB's Annual Christmas Concert by Candlelight

Every Christmas season New Trinity Baroque presents it's annual Candlelight Christmas concert, featuring exciting vocal and instrumental music by great Baroque composers - Handel, Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, et al. Every year the sanctuary of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church is packed with fans who enjoy this festive occasion which has been described by the critics as "the most satisfying concert this holiday season - a model of how to do it" (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution). Come and celebrate with us with festive music by candlelight!

Atlanta's period instrument premiere

New Trinity Baroque and Georgia Tech's Choir present the Atlanta period instrument premiere of Johann Sebastian Bach's masterpiece, the Great Mass in B minor. This concert, which promises to be the highlight of our 2010/11 season is definitelly a concert that will enlighten your body and soul, with majestic sounds that only great J.S. Bach could make!

MOZART MEETS HAYDN
Serenades & string quartets on period instruments

New Trinity Baroque musicians go Classical, presenting serenades and string quartets by two of the greatest Classical composers - Mozart and Haydn. Played on period instruments of the time, this concert will feature amazing music that defined the Classical era!
