Best of Baroque
Handel: "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba", Arias from operas "Rinaldo" & "Alcina"; J.S. Bach: Double Violin Concerto & Air on G string; Geminiani: "La Follia", etc.
Best of the best from glorious vocal-instrumental compositions written by the greatest composers of the Baroque, featuring the orchestra of New Trinity Baroque and vocal soloists, soprano Kathryn Mueller and countertenor Terry Barber.

The Art of the Italian Madrigal
Monteverdi: "Lamento della Ninfa", Madrigals; Vecchi: Madrigal comedy "L'Amfiparnaso" (1597); Madrigals by Palestrina, Marenzio, di Rore, Portinaro, et al
Madrigals by Italian masters of the late 16th and early 17th centuries: Claudio Monteverdi, G. P. da Palestrina, Cipriaro di Rore and the recently discovered Italian master, Francesco Portinaro (world premiere). Featuring a vocal ensemble of six singers and an instrumental consort of violins, gambas, lutes and keyboards.

Christmas in Germany
NTB's Annual Candlelight Christmas Concert
Bach: Cantata "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland" & Violin Concerto in E major; Buxtehude: "Das neugeborne Kindelein" & Christmas Chorales for Organ; Telemann: Christmas Suite; Bernhard: "Weihnachts-konzert", etc.
Featuring cantatas and instrumental music by some of the greatest German composers, our annual Christmas concert has become an audience favorite! We also celebrate the 300th anniversary of Dietrich Buxtehude, with NTB's vocal and instrumental soloists, including violinist Carrie Krause and organist Brad Hughley on the great 'Rosales' organ.

Bach: "St. John Passion"
"Johannes-Passion," BWV 245
J.S. Bach's great masterpiece sung in German and performed as Bach might have performed it in Leipzig on Good Friday in 1724. Featuring NTB's soloists, vocal ensemble and orchestra, joined by the Canterbury Choir.

Some of the most exuberant concertos for recorder and orchestra, featuring one of the world's most brilliant virtuosos and early music stars, Marion Verbruggen - "the Dutch master of the recorder" (The New York Times).
