Paul Hopkins, natural horn, holds a Bachelor's of music performance from the University of Oregon, and a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. Mr. Hopkins is a member of the Baltimore Opera Orchestra, Concert Artists of Baltimore, Maryland Symphony Orchestra, and has recorded extensively with the Omega Recording Studios. Hopkins performs regularly with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Washington Concert Opera.

Mr. Hopkins has extensive experience performing on both Baroque and Classical horn. He holds the Principal Horn positions with the Baltimore Handel Choir Orchestra, Modern Musick (Washington DC), and the Americantiga Orchestra (Austin, TX). He is also a regular performer with Opera Lafayette in Washington DC, the Washington Bach Consort, and the Wolf Trap Opera Company period instrument orchestra. Mr. Hopkins was a featured clinician and soloist at the 2008 and 2009 Maryland Early Brass Festival in Baltimore. Paul performs historic horns with Apollo's Fire (Cleveland), Aulos Ensemble, Ensemble Caprice (Montreal), and the Dallas Bach Society. Mr. Hopkins is a founding member of Circa 1800 Chamber Winds, one of the worlds' only period instrument wind quintets.
