Magdalena Wór, mezzo-soprano, is originally from Poland and has been living in United States since 1991. She is a student of Magdalena Moulson-Falewicz and a recent graduate of Georgia State University. Ms. Wór is a 2002 Metropolitan Opera Competition National Finalist, Winner of the 2002 Mozarteum Competition, and a 2001 and 2002 Recipient of the Florence Kopleff Vocal Scholarship. Ms. Wór is an alumnus of the San Francisco Opera’s 2003 Merola Summer Opera Workshop where she sung Rosina in Gioacchino Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and her recent performances include Henryk Górecki’s Third Symphony (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs), and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

Ms. Wór has also sung Meg Page in Otto Nicolai's The Merry Wives of Windsor, Rebecca Nurse in Robert Ward's The Crucible, and was a participant in The Harrower Summer Opera Workshop.
