Janice Joyce, transverse flute, completed her Bachelor of Music and Master in Music in Flute Performance at the University of Georgia and the State University of West Georgia. Janice studied flute performance, post-graduate level, at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. She has performed as a concerto competition winner at the University of Georgia and soloist for the International Electronic Composers Convention as well as solo performances at southeastern universities and other regional venues. She had performed as a freelance artist with Atlanta Musica Antiqua, Atlanta Bach Choir, Atlanta Bach Society, Camerati, Charleston Symphony, Atlanta Metropolitan Orchestra and Harmonie Universelle. She has also performed at the National Flute Conventions in Atlanta and Columbus, Ohio. For the past six years, she has been the class manager for Stephen Preston'' masterclass at the Wildacres Flute Retreat.
